Logo Competition - The winner.

Hi guys!

I'm happy to announce that the winner of the logo competition is Maria Bavin! She is also a MKB V.I.P! I loved her design as it's quite simple, yet has a great feel about it, and I love the colours she has picked. I have coloured it in Photoshop, and it is now ready to view on the site!

Well done Maria!

Hey guys!

I am struggling a bit to read lots of book and review them all so I am thinking of making a reviewing team. What you'll have to do is, if you win, review books, and in return I will send you extracts of books and even a special member badge! To enter, send the following information to littlemissbookworm@london.com.
Please send you name, email and age.

Thank you!

Love, Peace and Chocolate by Cathy Cassidy

This book is about two friends, Jess and Kady, who both have their eyes set on the hot new boy, Tom Somers. When the boy of their dreams comes between them, Jess has to learn to live life without her best friend. But, can they regain their friendship or is it all lost? Well, you'll have to read it to find out!

This book used to be a free mini book, but stocks ran too low and now it's back on the shelves as a 'Puffin Pocket Money Book' so it's only £2.79 on Amazon! I read through this within a couple of hours, so I'd say it's good for long journeys.Overall I'd give this book 4/5!

Viola in Reel Life by Adriana Trigiana

I quite like this book, although I found it was lacking emotion a bit and went on about stuff for way to long. It is about a girl called Viola, who likes filming with her video camera, that is sent to boarding school whilst her mum and dad work over in Afghanistan shooting a documentary. At first she doesn't think she is going to enjoy, and sometimes finds herself crying herself to sleep, but as the weeks go on she learns to put down her camera and take a look at her life through her own eyes and not the camera lense. A fun, lighthearted read, this is a good book for 10-12 year olds.

You can buy it here and learn more about the author here.

I would give this book 2/5.

Demon Trappers: Forsaken by Jana Oliver

This has got to be my favourite book ever! It's set in 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. The book is centered round Riley Blackthorne, a demon trapper following in the footsteps of her dad, Paul Blackthorne. I like that this book has a female as the main character, and that instead of the normal vampires, it's demons! Riley's thoughts in italic help keep the book funny and fast paced, and will have gripped every minute of the way!
This book defo deserves 5/5!

You can buy it from here for half price!
